One of the things I love most about photographing weddings in Idaho is how many unique venues the Treasure Valley has to offer. Boise Depot is one of the most iconic landmarks in Boise and easily one of the most visually striking wedding venues in the Treasure Valley. The Spanish-inspired architecture, grand interiors, and sweeping views overlooking downtown Boise make the venue feel both historic and cinematic.
One of the most memorable parts of photographing at Boise Depot is the incredible scale of the space. From the towering clock tower to the dramatic ceremony hall with arched ceilings and vintage railroad details, every part of the venue photographs beautifully. The symmetry and architectural lines create such an elegant backdrop for portraits while still feeling authentic to Boise’s history.
Outside, the gardens and pathways surrounding the Depot offer so much variety for portraits throughout the wedding day. The location feels peaceful and tucked away while still being right in the heart of Boise.
